Spiderman 4 - John Malkovich to play Vulture?Well, Movieline is reporting that Malkovich is in talks to play Vulture along with Anne Hathaway (already cast in the movie) to play a possible female version of Vulture. This goes against previous reports that she was cast as Black Cat.
Im calling Bullshit on this one, only as far as the whole Vultress thing. I can see Malkovich as Vulture (even though Vulture, visually, sucks a giant dick) but a female Vulture? I doubt Raimi would be that stupid. I just hope they dont overload this movie with villains and honestly, i only needed Lizard :p
Deadpool - Ryan Reynolds talks it up a little more/ Rumoured Writers
On the source material -
“You want to find the best version of what’s in the comic books, but like a lot of [characters], Deadpool has one of the more inconsistent narratives… It’s tough, because the series has been dropped and reopened
so many times. You really have to pick and choose so many of the best elements and cobble those together and create the movie of your dreams.”
On the trailer
- “I’ve told Fox already that the only way there’s ever gong to be a ‘Deadpool’ trailer is if Deadpool makes his own trailer… He needs to be talking to the movie audience … with the movie trailer voice: ‘In a world… gone mad… one man… must stand alone…"
Also, rumour is that the writers of Zombieland are going to be the writers.
Marvel Studios - David Maisel
Variety reports that David Maisel will step down as chairman of Marvel Studios when Disney's acquisition of the company wraps up.
Maisel joined Marvel in 2004 as president of the studio and was later promoted to chairman in 2007, after he helped raise the $525 million that enabled the company to start financing and producing its own films, starting with Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk.
Maisel will continue to serve as an executive producer on Marvel's next three movies, Iron Man 2, Captain America & Thor while pursuing other opportunities.
Kevin Feige, Marvel's production president, will now serve as its main man for Disney, reporting directly to Walt Disney Studios chairman Rich Ross.
