Kicks: Nike 6 Dunk S.E. 'Delorean'

Dont get me wrong, i dont really think it works as an item of clothing but i just love the idea of combining Nike x Delorean. Ive started to get kinda tired of foamposites already though, despite being a big fan at first.
Otherwise, it works really well as a concept and a very desirable collectors item. Shame they are only producing 1000 of them :(.

The 'Delorean' edition Nike 6.0 Dunks go on sale on Black Friday (26th)

Kicks: Swizz Beatz x Reebok

This is one of those rare occasions where music artists working with a sports or fashion brand works. Although the Nike Air Yeezys are sexy as fuck, they are unobtainable. Lets hope its not the same case for these bad boys. Lookin sick!

TV: Incredible Hulk TV Series!!!!!

To be made by........Guillermo Del Toro?!?!? \(^v^)/

Details of the premise are sketchy but I hear that the series will follow an origin story. In it, physicist Bruce Banner, whose alter ego is the green and raging Hulk, will be in his mid-twenties, less reactive and more energized as the world is still his oyster. Unlike the two Hulk movies, in which the monster was a pure CGI creation, the series will employ a mixture of prosthetics, puppetry and CGI. Del Toro and Eick will break the story for the pilot script together, sharing story and created by credit. Eick will write the script, with del Toro attached to direct subject to his availability.

Del Toro will also oversee the designing of the Hulk character, which is expected to draw on previous comic book incarnations, as well as the original 1978-82 Incredible Hulk TV series, with a few wild tweaks on the old look. Because the project is still in its nascent stage and will require a lot of prep work, it won't be ready for next fall consideration. I hear that Marvel is looking to launch the series following the July 2012 release of The Avengers, which features the Hulk character, so the series will probably be targeted for fall 2012.

No offense but i hope that Guillermo Del Toro doesnt try bringing too much of his own vision into this. If you wanna know what i mean by that just watch the second Hellboy movie, which felt more like 'Hellboy in Pans Labyrinth'. This is great though as we have a nice big time visionary helming the project and the mix of prosthetics and CGI sounds awesome.

Music: K-pop Boyish Project

Wanna breathe some more life into those female k-pop songs of yours? Try out the male versions, basically slowed down vocals made to sound like male versions. There used to be a user on youtube who did virtually every big female k pop song that came out and even though that user seems to have disappeared, people have carried on the style. Try searching for "boyish project" (^_^)b. I made my own version once using Erika Davids "My Heels". Its pretty easy! But its kinda strange for what sounds like a man singing about his "heels" lol. Check out some of these recent ones:

the sistar version is soooo good lol.
And theres a lot of male versions of female k-pop hits on youtube so go check em out :D

John's Art: Monkey Business

Looking at the actual artwork, you can probably figure out that most of that time was spent adding in rising sun and steam effects etc in photoshop. The drawing itself was pretty quick though as id already sketched out what i wanted in a JMS lecture.

the story is kind of a crossover between the movie "Big" (Tom Hanks) and "The Fly" (Jeff Goldblum)

where in this case, the monkey accidentally got into the other end of the teleporter but instead, the machine then endowed the monkey with hum...an like abilities at increased levels. For example he has a swag level thats off the scale and his business skills are unmatched.

He eventually goes off into the world without his creator, and best friend, the scientist and becomes a huge success only realising later on that actually, he just wants to be a monkey again and hang out with his homie.

Apparently though, Disney doesnt accept outside submissions :(

John`s Art: Okamiden Fan Art Contest @ Capcom-Unity

I re-hashed my old gumiho drawing to create it, due to time constraints, so im sorry that the work isnt entirely new. They made some really nice comments about my work:

jgonzo: This is a pretty neat art style! It almost looks like it's an Okamiden chess piece! That'd be awesome!

vabor: This is amazing. The thick lines and cuteness of this one are going to be tough to beat. Nice shading work too. Highly stylized and very talented work here.

Snow: I really love seeing new styles of fan art, and this one in particular caught my eye. It looks like it'd make a cute little toy!

Despite such kind words, i dont think i have much of a chance at winning the competition. Some of the other artworks are just far too good. Im just happy to see my work up there :D

John`s Art: Mighty Thor

So i had sometime to do some quick drawings recently. Nothing too fancy, just an image of Thor holding his hammer. Surprisingly, this took not time at all to draw. About 10 mins to sketch and 5 to colour
